During the prototype preview, nearly 2,000 scenes/games were posted. PHYZIOS Studio for iPhone, which was released earlier on App Store and ranked top 10 among free applications in Japan, will be connected with PHYZIOS Studio soon so that both versions can share content.

What is PHYZIOS Studio?

PHYZIOS Studio is a web application in which you can enjoy art scene creation and games (both gameplay and level design) in a physically simulated environment. PHYZIOS Studio is an upgraded version of “OE-Cake!” that was released by Prometech Software, Inc. in 2007. You can share your artwork and/or game with other players in the world. For more information about this beta version, visit the company’s website athttp://www.phyzios.com/eng/products_pc.html.

What You Draw Moves

In the world of PHYZIOS Studio, what you draw starts moving. Water you draw starts flowing, stones you draw on a slope starts rolling down, fire you draw burns things around it. If you drag and drop image files, they also start moving on a physically simulated canvas. You are not good at drawing? Don’t worry. The intuitive user-interface of PHYZIOS Studio will enable you to enjoy artwork creation.

What You Draw Becomes Games

Once you draw a scene, you can create your own games just by setting start and goal locations and adding items players can use in the level. Draw a bridge when there is a huge gap you cannot jump over. Generate fire to burn down barriers on your way. PHYZIOS Studio enables you to enjoy this incredible gameplay. Rules are simple, but gameplay is profound. (New genres will be added in future updates.)

United with Other Users around the World
You can share artworks and game levels you create with other players around the world. Share your creativity with them.

Entertainment Supported by Physics Simulation
Phyzios has released applications based on physics simulation. This time, for PHYZIOS Studio, we utilize the particle method, developed by Dr. Seiichi Koshizuka (Department of Systems Innovation, Graduate School of Engineering, The University of Tokyo). This technology is unique in that it handles everything as a collection of particles.
