Piece Finance Srl, with the vision of “Real Estate for Everyone,” was founded in Italy in May 2023. It provides a service for buying and selling "Piece Fractional Ownership"—a security token that enables fractional ownership of real estate—on the online platform “Piece.” The company primarily handles real estate investment properties in Italy and other parts of Europe, allowing users to make small-scale investments easily through Piece. Fractional ownership holders can receive monthly dividends and also profit from increases in property value. Starting with Italian properties that combine historical charm with excellent condition, the company plans to expand its lineup to include properties in neighboring countries such as Spain, France, and Germany.

Origin

After successfully exiting his startup in Japan, Co-founder Mr. Sohara moved to Europe in search of a new challenge. While sensing a growing interest in real estate investment in Italy, he also recognized the issue that younger generations had limited access to such opportunities. It was then that he met Mr. Momigliano and together they established Piece.

Strength

The product’s strength lies in its ability to offer a secure, blockchain-backed platform that allows anyone to easily invest small amounts in carefully selected, high-quality European real estate. The company was founded by Kentaro Sohara, a serial entrepreneur with a background in strategy consulting and private equity and a successful exit in Japan, and Riccardo Momigliano, who brings deep on-the-ground real estate networks and operational experience across Europe. Leveraging their complementary expertise, the team is unlocking a new cross-border asset class for personal wealth creation.
