● Madoka is in charge of new investments and portfolio company support. Building on her understanding of and network across R&D fields, she supports the growth of university-originated startups and technology companies.
● As PR Manager, she leads UTEC's external communications across channels such as its Podcast, note, and X. She also serves as a symposium organizer at academic conferences, focusing on communication that connects startups, researchers, investors, and corporates.
● Prior to joining UTEC, she conducted joint research with a major chemical manufacturer in the field of regenerative medicine, drawing on her expertise in chemical engineering.
● She holds a BEng and an MEng from the University of Tokyo (Faculty of Engineering and Graduate School of Engineering) and received the Dean's Award of the Faculty of Engineering. She is a certified Poisonous and Deleterious Substances Handling Supervisor.
