BionicM wins 2017 SXSW Interactive Innovation Award
- BionicM, a powered prosthetic project at the University of Tokyo, won 2017 SXSW Interactive Innovation Award (Student Innovation).
- It was the first for a Japanese entry to win the award.
- The University of Tokyo and UTEC are jointly working on BionicM project, sponsored by the ministry of education of Japan.
