Dr. Maiko Katadae joined UTEC in 2005. She focuses on seeds/early stage biotech, healthcare service and medical devices. She had begun her career in scientific research at the Tokyo Metropolitan Institute of Medical Science, where she conducted her research on molecular mechanism of signal transduction in disease. With her knowledge and experience in scientific research, she had been engaging in the process up to the investment in the variety of technology-edged companies of choice. She also serves as a the Auditor at PeptiDream, Inc (Biotech), and the Boards of Cyfuse, Inc (regenerative medicine). She received a Ph.D. in science from the University of Tokyo.
